the Digital Age

emergence and education

So as everyone can see, I'm not really a huge blogger. This may be an extremely long way to make up for my non-blogging prior to this. I suppose I'll talk about the class and it's online structure for starters. First off, I'd like to say I have really enjoyed taking this class thus far. At times it has been stressful, but honestly, what course isn't? I suppose it wouldn't be worth it if it were stress free and not difficult in some respect. I enjoyed that it was online mostely because of the convenience of not having to travel back and forth to Cortland each day from Syracuse (that saved me SO much time and gas money). Also, I enjoy the online course because there are really not time constraints/restrictions which makes it so much easier for me because I'm working two jobs right now in order to save up quite a bit of money for school. I have to admit going beyond the confines of Cortland's webct scared me a little in the beginning. I didn't think I'd be able to keep up with the three sites (I was also using webct frequently for another online course I was taking along with this one). I have never used a site such as digital age or wiki but I really ended up liking them! Although I have to admit, the only way that I know how to access them is through my Cortland e-mail, which is a bit embarrassing (blushing face). Anyways, this is it for this blog, I'm going to start another in a bit.
