I so so so enjoyed this course. I'm a little sad it's over. I would have loved if it was a full-semester course I was taking and could read even more books and maybe even watch a few movies or something. I'm so so happy, though, that it is over as it put a lot of stress on my family life. At the library right now feeling sorry for myself. The thing I loved best about Little Brother was how Doctorow put aspects of technology into layman's terms for the average person. Unlike Neuromancer, which I loved, we don't have to figure out much. Which is night person at a drainage company (fun fun). So I get a lot of free time to read, write, and get some work done. Technology. This week has made me question the soundness of relying too much on technology. Our washing machine broke and we have to buy a new one (the laundry, meanwhile, is piling up). I'm feeling more confident in this class than I had been feeling. Just got my grade back from my second book review and am happy with it. This time, I tried to imagine I was really writing a review for an AUDIENCE, such as in a magazine. I think that really helped me to write a better review. Well Friday is my two job day and at my second job I get to do a lot of schoolwork. I SOMEHOW just finished Neuromancer this weekend, between the three thousand other things on my plate.
