What are your reading and writing habits? (i.e. what do you like to write and read?)

Facebook

I think facebook is a great way to keep in touch with friends on a regular basis. You can say whatever you want to say to friends in a creative way by sending pictures or write them little posts about yourself and what you are doing later on in the day or make plans to do something with that friend. It’s also a great thing for college students because it can help them find other kids that go to the same school they go for help on homework if they have the same class together or to even make new… Continue

Ebay

Buying and selling on Ebay,
In my opinion one of the best inventions on the internet is Ebay. Have you ever been to the store and seen an item you wanted but wished you could get it for cheaper. Buying it used or new there are probably hundreds of the same item you could find on Ebay. Not only new items, items that you could normally not buy in a store, something valuable like an autographed jersey or card. Instead of having to go garage sale hunting and hoping you come across something, chances… Continue

Goozex

Goozex is a video game trading website. Basically what you do is acquire points by sending your used games to someone who is asking for them. You then can use those points to acquire games from other people. The more popular or newer the game is, the more points it will cost and sell for. The website makes money by requiring you to buy a token for each trade. I think a token is a dollar. The tokens are cheap. This way of getting new video games is way cheaper than trying to sell them at the stor… Continue

Myspace

I know that a lot of college age people like to say bad things about myspace but I still use it, just a little less frequently than I used to. I don't think that it's this child molester haven that people think it is, yet there is still the risk there. Everything has a risk though, that doesn't mean that it is a bad thing. If people use myspace properly it can be a rewarding experience.
Since I have heard a lot about employers searching myspaces and facebooks I deleted my old myspace that had lo… Continue

Digg

Well Digg is a web 2.0 site that allows people to post links to pages they find on the internet. You can add friends (even without their consent) and share your story with them. There is a limit to how many friends you can have and to how many people you can send your story to at once which I think is a good idea because it limits spammers. What you do is add your page to the directory which puts up your link on the Digg site. The only thing is that nobody knows that your page is up there, reall… Continue
