Tell us a little about yourself and your interest in the course you're taking.
I am a man of the liberal arts, I take great pleasure in learning about different cultures, listening to new and interesting music, and observing art in all its forms.
I'm taking this course because I'm curious about the potential knowledge from this subject to bring more experience and depth to my writing. I find ways to incorporate the knowledge I've gained because I like to make people think.
What are your reading and writing habits? (i.e. what do you like to write and read?)
I enjoy writing stories that mostly start out as shorts which generally follow a group of characters that go through a series of journeys, while filling in information from previous "episodes."
My favorite books are by Clive barker and Howard Philips Lovecraft. I used to read science fiction adventure stories by Jack Vance, but find the macabre far more entertaining than interstellar wonderlands.
I generally prefer to read for recreation during breaks so I don't clutter my mind and get distracted from books that I need to for credit, generally when I allow thoughts to stew and be refined for my latest project.
