I tried re-writing my original research based article on FGM, and formatting it in more of a news story package, but I didn't get very far. I did read a couple articles that give a more recent look at FGM or issues going on with it now, but none of them pertained to my endless amount of research done on FGM in African countries. Some may call it laziness, or just being overwhelmed by the end of semester work load but i've decided to stick with my orginial piece, even if it isn't very reader friendly. It brings up the issue and educates people who may not have known about FGM beforehand and that was my original goal..... so here it is.
